WHAT IS ADAS

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems?

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are groups of electronic technologies which assist drivers in driving and parking functions. ADAS increase car and road safety. ADAS use automated technology such as sensors and cameras to detect nearby obstacles and or driver errors and respond accordingly.

ADAS have been developed to automate, adapt, and enhance vehicle technology for safety and better driving.

The Aussie ADAS & Glass Calibration Process

1. PRE SCAN

All vehicles receive a pre-diagnostic scan prior to any recalibration. This identifies if there are any pre-existing or unrelated fault codes.

2. ALIGNMENT

If required, the vehicle has a full 4-wheel alignment check. The equipment used can identify any chassis misalignment.

3. CALIBRATE

once the vehicle is aligned, we commence the re-calibration. Multiple radars, LIDARs and cameras may require recalibration.

4. POST SCAN

A post re-calibration scan is completed

5. ROAD TEST

The vehicle is tested on the road to check for any anomalies and to ensure that all ADAS systems are operational.

6. FINAL SCAN

The car has a final diagnostic scan to ensure that no fault codes have been activated during the road test.

7. REPORT

A comprehensive report is stored and supplied for each vehicle.
